The City of New York filed for an appeal late yesterday after New York State Supreme Court Judge Ralph Porzio ruled in favor of 16 Department of Sanitation (DSNY) workers who sued the city after being fired for defying NYC’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate.

The decision invalidated the mandate for all city workers in a victory for plaintiffs’ attorney Chad LaVeglia.

Appealing Is Futile!

Well, we can’t be sure about that, but here’s what Chad LaVeglia had to say about the city’s appeal:

“The City's appeal is futile and wastes taxpayer money. Even worse, the appeal solidifies that the Adams administration does not care about equality, public health, or the law. Instead of following the law, the City is doubling down on a policy that discriminates against the very people who keep the government running.

If the City actually cared about its residents, it would stop infring…
