Thank you for reporting, and may NYC workers find justice. The mandates were a crime and a reckoning is long, long overdue.

I am so sorry you had to go through all of this. These mandates were never legal or constitutional. I lost my 20 year NYC teaching career due to these vax mandates and moved to Tennessee where I was allowed to be in classroom unvaxxed. Make that make sense please! The public sector were never under any mandates in the South and this was never about "health" but rather control. it's a crime that this happened to all the NYC workers and we are still paying the price 6 years later.

Why haven't any of these lawyers made the case that Jacobson allowed for a fine, not exclusion from school, work, or society?

Instead the dummies in LA school case fought that Jacobson didn't apply cause the clot shots didn't stop transmission.... Um what if next time they "prove" it does?

I think the lawyers are always navigating a complicated landscape of case law when they're arguing, so I tend not to fault them for not bringing up a point that I might consider salient. That said, I have questioned the wisdom of the "it didn't stop transmission" argument myself. Focusing on how well a vaccine works seems to me like a good way to set up an argument for mandating vaccines that are "effective." But hey, I'm not a lawyer.
